Loan Periods
- Books, magazines, and audiobooks are loaned for 21 calendar days and may be RENEWED ONCE, if there is no patron waiting list.
- Videos and DVDs are loaned for seven calendar days and may be RENEWED ONCE, if there is no patron waiting list.
- Renewal may be done by phone.
Check-Out
- PATRON MUST PRESENT HIS OR HER CARD TO CHECK OUT ITEMS. Upon request, the librarian will keep the card at the library for the patron.
Each Patron May Check out Items up to the Following Limits (Provided the Patron Has No Overdue Items and/or Unpaid Fines)
- ADULT PATRONS: 5 adult books, 5 videos/DVDs; 3 audiobooks; 5 magazines. In addition, adult patrons may have up to 5 juvenile easy books checked out for each of their pre-school children who have no library card,
- CHILDREN WITH LIBRARY CARDS: 5 juvenile books and 3 videos/DVDs. Children age 17 and below will not be allowed to check out R-rated videos/DVDs.
Fines and Borrowing Privileges
- Fines for all items are 10 cents per item per day; 50 cents per item per week; $5 per item maximum.
- Fine for lost/damaged item is cost of the item.
- Borrowing privileges will be suspended for patrons with any item(s) overdue for seven days or more until all overdue item(s) are returned and fines paid in full.
Courtesy Overdue Notices
- A courtesy phone call, written reminder, or email notice about overdue materials will be made after materials are seven days past the due date, but the responsibility to return materials rests with the borrower.
- Notices, including bills for the cost of the item(s) from the Director and/or the Board of Trustees, may be given until the overdue item(s) is returned or paid for.
