he Hanover Township Park District was formed and funded by a popular referendum in April 2003 after many years of organization and volunteer work. Among their first actions was to purchase the former Hanover School vacated that summer by the River Ridge School District.

In addition to ongoing programming, rooms are available for daily or long-term rental by the public. The Park District operates a fitness center that you can use during business hours or join on a monthly basis for unlimited access. The Dubuque Dance Studio and Gymnastics Club also teaches classes and summer camps (PDF registration form online). Read more about these activities and more in the The Grapevine.
