he Village of Hanover celebrates the arrival of fall each year with a tribute to our own local color: Hanover's own Whistling Wings raises and exports more than 200,000 mallard ducks each year, with most of these mallards sold for release and propagation into the wild.

Mallardfest 2008 was Sept. 19. The event featured music, great food, an auction to benefit Ducks Unlimited, a parade, fireworks and more. Check back for the 2009 schedule.
